King Solomon Rescue Racehorse

Sponsor King Solomon – Injured Thoroughbred Racehorse

King Solomon needs your help! This spectacular thoroughbred was enjoying a successful career when he was suddenly injured and put out of commission. We’re hoping some caring horse lovers will help us raise funds for his much-needed condylar fracture surgery so he can return to doing what he loves most….running!

Angel Hugs Horse Rescue Ranch

Rescuing Horses in South Florida is a Full-Time Job

Many people are unaware that there are so many horses that are abandoned, neglected, and in need of loving care throughout Florida. We’ve made it our mission to help these horses in need and give them the healthy, happy lives they deserve. It’s a full-time labor of love.

The Angel Hugs Foundation Mission

The Mission of the Angel Hugs Foundation is to create unique, one-on-one interactions for marginalized and at-risk youth to encourage hope and inspiration in their otherwise broken world. We believe that observing the interactions of a herd of horses will act as an ideal model of the potential for our own physical, mental and emotional health. Angel Hugs equines used in all interactions and therapy were once themselves at-risk by abandonment or neglect, rescued, rehabilitated and adopted by our founder, Emily Villafane.

CHILDREN WHO NEED CONNECTION

Equine Therapy for At-Risk Youth in South Florida

Rescuing horses is just the beginning for the Angel Hugs Foundation. We’ve added a community outreach program that brings at-risk youth together with these amazing animals for the emotional and spiritual healing that communing with nature brings.

Few experiences help us reconnect with our humanity and bliss as connecting with these heavenly beings. We’ve seen such incredible transformations as children learn to care for and relate to our horses! It is truly a humbling and inspiring experience for everyone involved.
